Sara is a singer from Spain. With respect for her professional role as a flamenco singer, she is also interested in the encounter with both visual arts and other artistic expressions.
Pia is a dancer originally from Finland. Her heart is in flamenco but over the years she has explored a variety of encounters with other art forms.
Josefina is a nyckelharpist from Sweden. With deep roots in the traditional music of the nyckelharpa, she brings this dialect into encounters with other musical expressions.
Sophie is a diatonic accordionist from Belgium. Her compositions are inspired by traditional music, and she likes to use her traditional instrument in inventive and unexpected ways.
Fluencia Quartet offers a visual music resulting from the meeting between 4 female artists firmly rooted in their respective traditions.
The repertoire is a mix of their own compositions tinged with their own worlds: flamenco, traditional music and Swedish dance.
An exploration of a shared musical and choreographic space, where voices can soar and sublimate together, without forsaking their own identity, and where a warm place is left for the audience on the dance floor.
